Your Career Professional & HR Consultant: Tammy-Lee Holmes

With over a decade of experience working in the careers, education and employment fields, Tammy-Lee Holmes lives and breathes being a career planner and staff development specialist. She has had thousands of happy and successful clients.

Tammy-Lee currently works with many small to medium sized businesses in Rotorua and Taupo to work on all of their staff requirements and HR compliance issues.  In addition, she works with secondary school students and adults in all facets of career change and development.

Her own career has evolved from a local government marketing and public relations role, to employment and recruitment consulting. Tammy-Lee consequently spent seven years passionately working in a university advisory role as a career planner, assisting in career decisions, career development and management right down to the nuts and bolts of paper selection and prerequisites. She intricately knows the ins and outs of tertiary study, which made her support and guidance of her Bay of Plenty wide portfolio of secondary schools exceptional.

Tammy-Lee has a firm background in staff management and development, employing people with disabilities, working with secondary students and parents, polytechnic and university students of all ages and disciplines and those faced with the excitement of career change. She listens, is easy to talk to and has her clients best interests at heart.

Tammy-Lee holds a Bachelor of Communication Studies specialising in Public Relations and Marketing, a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (Career Development). She is a professional member of the Career Development Association New Zealand, Secretary for Waiariki Career and Transition Education Association, and Associate Member of the Human Resources Institute of New Zealand.

Cathe is the newest member of the Goal Digger Team.  Embracing beach life, raising teenagers and study on top, definitely keeps our Cathe busy.  Cathe is our go-to person for our HR administrative requirements and can often be seen out and about with our small business clients.

Cathe has a friendly, yet professional approach to getting the job done in the most efficient way.  She’s personable, takes the time to understand our clients needs and best of all, delivers on what’s required.

 

Qualifications & Experience

Not only does Cathe hold a Diploma in Human Resources, she also has qualifications in business, finance and tourism and has a lot of industry experience and knowledge from the farming, banking and finance sectors.  She is an absolute all-rounder that you will love to work with.
